剧情简介
故事开始于1913年的巴塞罗那，艾玛（蕾欧诺·瓦特林暂无内容Leonor暂无内容Watling暂无内容饰）挺着肚子正在准备迎接腹中新的生命，就在这个节骨眼上，她的丈夫里昂（阿莱克斯·布伦德穆尔暂无内容Alex暂无内容Brendemühl暂无内容饰）竟然离家出走音信全无。在姐夫萨尔瓦多（路伊斯·托沙暂无内容Luis暂无内容Tosar暂无内容饰）的帮助之下，艾玛开始调查里昂的去向。从后者留下的种种蛛丝马迹看来，一个神秘的女病人和里昂的失踪有着千丝万缕的关联。

A narcissistic performer's world crumbles when he mysteriously loses his talent right before the biggest opportunity of his career.

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
