Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　本片是苏联伟大卫国战争系列史诗巨片之一部。影片尽情歌颂了苏联人民，在德国法西斯围困列宁格勒的900个艰难的日日夜夜，所表现出来的顽强精神。影片及表现了苏军大本营对列宁格勒的战略布防，也表现出列宁格勒市民面对生死的坚忍不拔。同时也是为数不多的苏联战争影片，客观地表现了战争初期红军失利，以及红军将领伏罗希洛夫元帅组织列宁格勒城防的失败。影片还展现了列宁格勒基洛夫工厂，冒着的德军轰炸，坚持为前线生产武器，以及军队和市民通过城市唯一与外界的通道——拉多加湖通道，运送粮食、武器和其他战略物资的场面。该片还较为详实地展示了希特勒攻占列宁格勒的计划，以及红军与市民联手防御，共同抗敌的画面。这部影片，将战争的全景展示与战壕细节完美地结合起来，直到今天仍不失为一部反法西战争的优秀影片，很值得观赏和借鉴。

　　本片改编自ＨＢＯ１９８８年起播映的影集，播出后广受另类影迷的欢迎。依循该影集的特色，我们看到三层投射在电影银幕的剪影，影片中的人正在观赏一堆低俗可笑的Ｂ级影片。剧情安排一位邪恶的科学佛利特，他意图以最低俗的Ｂ级影片来对人类洗脑，并进而控制人类的意志。片中被试验的对象麦克是个平凡人物，但是他非但未被低级影片所害，反倒颇能乐在其中，并与银幕上的主角产生颇具“笑”果的对话。本片以独特的观点来处理，对于新新人类，是另类电影风的最佳代表与选择。　　快戴上你的太空安全帽，一场疯狂滑稽的旅程就要展开！一位邪恶的科学家，意图以最低俗的B级影片来对人类洗脑，并进而控制人类的意志，最后占领地球。因此一个倒楣的平凡人麦可纳尔逊被当成实验对象，与两个滑稽的机器人一同登上一艘宇宙飞船，被迫观看1955年的一部烂科幻片。但是没想到，麦可非但未被低级影片所害，反倒能乐在其中，并与银幕上的主角产生颇具「笑」果的对话！此片是根据一个同名电视秀所改编而成，该电视秀从80年代晚期延续到90年代中期，它所造成的轰动盛况，不但有六万名以上的疯狂影迷，甚至还出了一本书，并拍了这部电影。
