　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　这是一个虚构的世界，维尔大陆上小国林立，且遭遇饥荒，盗匪遍地。为了运送赈灾物资，西斯公国的迪金国王开展了以“王者联盟”为名的比武活动，希望能选出在这个时刻力挽狂澜的勇士。然而就在比武进行到最后的时刻，维尔大陆最可怕的四大杀手食上四天王从天而降，屠杀了包括迪金国王在内的西斯公国几乎所有贵族，并夺走了国王的莱恩之剑。　　逍遥自在的英雄探魔导师T，在悠哉地击杀了八大恶人后，被表彰为英雄，然而因为少击杀了一名恶人，所以T没赚到多少钱。在听闻了食上四天王的恶行以及其高额的赏金之后，T决定自己组建团队，去打败四天王，赢得赏金。　　T第一个找到的是另一个通缉犯，“爆度少女”金坷，金坷表面似乎是个恶人，但当贫民窟的小姑娘被土匪欺凌时，金坷挺身而出救了小姑娘。T由此认定，金坷其实是个善良的好人，于是略施小计让金坷加入了自己的队伍，这个过程中，金坷还对T暗生情愫。　　同时，一直在追查金坷下落的“传城女警”凯瑟琳也加入了队伍，凯瑟琳是警方成员中唯一的传奇英雄，学识丰富，情报专家，却因为性格耿直而被开除。加入T的队伍后，因为和金坷在身份上的对立，对金坷十分厌烦，但金坷却十分崇拜凯瑟琳，口口声声叫她师父。　　紧接着是“双枪游侠”卢先的加入。卢先早年从军，解甲归田后四处惩恶扬善，这一天在当铺赎刀，因为不善言辞而被言语犀利的老板欺负。这时进店几个打劫的，卢先不计前嫌，三下五除二收拾了这些恶霸，T刚好也在店里，替卢先赎回了武器后，卢先也加入了团队。　　团队还少了一个刀法大师，T找到了独行浪客，刀剑泰斗京先生。京双目失明，但眼瞎心不瞎。在被伪装成妓女的杀手“金刀九旋”暗算后，临危不乱，在佩刀被夺走的情况下依然轻松击败对手。　　在帮助京夺回了宝刀后，T正式邀请京加入团队：原来，前来夺京佩刀的“金刀九旋”是食上四天王派来的神秘杀手。而团队组建的目的，就是为了赏善罚恶，缉拿食上四天王。正当T说得起劲时，京对这个团队的组成表示了不屑，这引得暴脾气的卢先和京打了一架，最后以平手收场，卢先也赢得了京的尊重。　　正当T等人愉快地出发时，食上四天王的老巢里，他们正在接受上司幻影女王的怒火。幻影女王因为四天王夺刀失败而大怒，决定请高手“暗夜君王”出山帮忙对付T等人。　　其实在T等人出发之前，还发生过这样一件事，发布通缉令的圣盾局，其实其赏金来源全部来自死去的迪金国王的女儿，希维尔公主募集的巨款。而圣盾局的首领，元首其实是一个异常狠辣的男人，他一直想要得到一张藏宝地图，为此不惜草菅人命。这一次，T就成了他利用的棋子。　　而这一边，赏金猎人们正优哉游哉地边修车边聊天，现在凯瑟琳对金坷的态度缓和了，还开始教她射击，而卢先和京在下棋的过程中，两人聊起了卢先之前为了救俘虏毫不犹豫挥剑的事，京为此鼓励了卢先，卢先深受感动。　　团队一行人追查“金刀九旋”来到一处仓库内，发现她们已经和圣盾局的侦察兵同归于尽，同时T还拿到了元首梦寐以求的藏宝图。但他们也落入了幻影女王的圈套，因为可怕的“暗夜君王”早已经在这里伏击。　　众人奋力迎敌，但暗夜君王实在太强大，一个人打败了他们五个人。五人倒地后，同时回想起了这一路的艰辛与同甘共苦，想起了互相之间其实已经牢不可破的情谊。五人忍着伤痛站了起来，这一次，为队友，而不是为自己而战。五人相互配合，互相掩护，卢先和凯瑟琳压制住暗夜君王的攻势，金坷想办法牵制住了暗夜君王的双腿，T将自己的能量给了京，京拔出宝刀“童子切鞍钢”挥出终极一击，最终击败了可怕的暗夜君王。　　失败后的元首与幻影女王无比愤怒，但赏金猎人们却更加坚定地向着前方的道路迈进，在互相鼓励后，T等人义无反顾地迈进了半个世纪一来从没有人活着出来的梦幻峡谷，继续为伸张正义做斗争。
