当一位作曲家的任务是完成她已故导师的协奏曲时，她很快发现演奏音乐会带来致命的后果，这让她发现了旋律的令人不安的起源和已经觉醒的邪恶。

　　孤儿萨曼塔，和她的养父母以及妹妹奥利弗住在一起，但是他的养父并不喜欢她，老是责骂她。由于他们的家位于森林深处，所以回家必须经过森林，但是，他们不知道森林里有树怪，他们能诱捕儿童，然后把抓到的孩子困到他们的巢穴，然后再幻化成孩子的模样，回到他们的父母身边，所以数百年来，这片森林数百年来都有儿童走失的案例，不幸的是，由于萨曼塔的疏忽，让她的妹妹独自穿过森林，然后就被树怪掳走啦，接着就发生了一连串死亡事件，那么萨曼塔一家能够逃过一劫吗？

　　建筑师托尼（梁家辉 饰）的个性十分木讷老实，以至于他暗恋同时艾琳（陈雅伦 饰）多年，却总也鼓不起勇气表白，更糟的是，艾琳已有一位感情亲密的男友，托尼的单恋似乎注定不会有结果。一次偶然中，托尼被猛鬼缠身，索性得到名为嘉嘉（关之琳 饰）的女鬼相助才得以脱身，也正因为这件事，托尼拥有了能与嘉嘉心意相通的特异功能。　　得知了托尼的苦恋，热心的嘉嘉决定帮他一把，一番波折之后，艾琳终于离开了男友，投入了托尼的怀抱，可是，直到这时，托尼才发现自己其实早已经深深的爱上了嘉嘉，无奈人鬼殊途，无法承受分离之苦的托尼竟然决定殉情。

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
